PATH Service Restored After Signal Problem

An electrical fire temporarily knocked out signal power — and all train service — on PATH trains.

PATH train service has been restored after a signal problem knocked out service Saturday night.

A small electrical fire broke out in a closet in the system's Journal Square station in Jersey City, N.J., knocking out signal power. There was power to the tracks, but there was none to the signals.

There were no reported delays Sunday morning.
