Train Farebeater Caught With Knife Tells Cops He's Carrying It ‘for Pigs Like You': Port Authority Police

A man caught trying to skip the PATH train fare in Jersey City had a knife on him, which he told police he was carrying "for pigs like you," authorities say.

Khajah Gaye, 25, of West Orange, was trying to manipulate a turnstile at Journal Square to get in without paying, police said. When Port Authority police stopped and arrested him, Gaye had no ID and his backpack contained a large knife.

He told police that he was carrying the knife "for pigs like you."

No one was hurt, police said.

Gaye, who's been arrested twice this past summer on assault and trespassing charges, among others, is facing charges of unlawful possession of a weapon and theft of service. It's not clear if he has an attorney who can comment on the charges.
