An MTA work train derailed in the Bronx early Saturday, disrupting service on two lines while crews made repairs, officials said.
The MTA described the 3:30 a.m. derailment at 174th Street as "minor" and said no one was injured.
Although subway service continued overnight, on Saturday morning parts of the 2 and 5 lines were replaced with shuttle bus service while crews made repairs.
The buses replaced service at East 180th Street and 149 Street-Grand Concourse in both directions, the MTA said.
