Softball Players Sue NY College, Ex-Coach for Sex Harassment

Three members of the Nyack College women's softball team have sued the school, saying it failed to protect them from an ex-coach who sexually harassed them.

The softball players filed the lawsuits seeking unspecified damages in Manhattan federal court on Friday.

They say they were also subjected to intimate counseling sessions with a pornographic actress.

The lawsuit also names the coach, 44-year-old Kurt Ludwigsen, as well as current administrators at the Rockland County college.

Ludwigsen was indicted earlier this year on charges alleging he improperly touched players on his team.

He has pleaded not guilty in the case. His attorney, David Goldstein, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

A spokeswoman from the school also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
