Newborn Boy Found Bleeding in Queens Backyard

The baby's umbilical cord was still attached

Police are investigating after a newborn boy was found bleeding in a Queens backyard, authorities say.

The child's umbilical cord was still attached when he was found around 7 a.m. Sunday outside a home in South Richmond Hill. 

The boy was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition. 

Police are looking for his parents.
