Four people died in three separate killings in Newark, N.J., on Tuesday, including a man and woman stabbed to death in their home.
All four killings were in the city's West Ward, according to the Star-Ledger. The crimes don't appear to be connected and no arrests have been made.
In one of the homicides, police officers found the man and woman stabbed inside a house on the 400 block of South 11th Street at about 3:30 p.m., prosecutors said.
The 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 54-year-old woman was taken to University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The woman was identified as Ruby Green. The man has not yet been identified.
About four hours later, a man was shot and killed blocks away on West End Avenue, the Star-Ledger reports. Then, at about 11 p.m., another person was fatally shot at South Orange Avenue and Smith Street.
