New Yorkers Still Fat Despite City's Efforts

New York City is already forcing restaurants to post the number of calories in the foods they sell and the city banned the use of trans-fats, but apparently, that’s not enough to keep New Yorkers’ weight down.

A new report by the City University of New York says there’s still a lot more than can be done to fight obesity.

The study suggests limiting the number of fast food restaurants in neighborhoods with disproportionately high obesity rates and to use advertising campaigns to warn people of the risks of unhealthy food.

Taxing unhealthy foods was another recommendation.
