Cops Find 8 Dogs in Sweaters While Responding to Brooklyn Burglary Call

Police officers responding to a burglary call in Brooklyn found 8 dogs wearing sweaters in an abandoned home, according to the NYPD.

The cops found the pooches while responding to a call on Ocean Parkway in Gravesend Monday, the NYPD says. The dogs were taken to Animal Care and Control of New York City and were set to get medical checkups.

Police say that three days after the dogs are medically cleared, they will be put up for adoption.

Anyone interested in adopting the dogs should call Animal Care and Control at 212-788-4000 and mention that they were interested in the dogs brought in by the NYPD's 61st precinct.
