Police have released new video in the search for a man accused of attempted rape in the Bronx.

The man allegedly threw the victim to the ground while the 24-year-old female victim was walking on East 161st Street in the Concourse section of the Bronx at about 5 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

He lifted the victim's skirt and laid on top of her, but then fled westbound toward the Grand Concourse, according to police.

The suspect, described as about 6 feet tall with a medium build, was last seen wearing a red and white striped short sleeve shirt, a black watch on his left wrist, light blue jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
