A 19-year-old woman has died after a gunman opened fire as she was sitting in front of a New Jersey house with some friends Thursday evening.
Tammy Henderson was sitting on the steps in front of the house on South 11th Street at about 11 p.m. when a gunman wearing a black hoodie approached them and opened fire, the victim’s sister said.
Police are investigating. No further information was immediately available.
The investigation is being handled by the Essex County Prosecutor's Homicide Task Force.
