A New Jersey man was arrested Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a child and two adult women and attempting to sexually assault a third woman over the course of about five months, authorities said.
Kervin Joseph Michel, 35, was arrested Thursday and charged with multiple felonies, including: aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a child.
Michel allegedly first struck when he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old child at her home in Newark on June 6, 2015.
He struck twice more in early November, police said, allegedly sexual assaulting two women in their 20s at their homes in Irvington.
In one of the November attacks, in Irvington, Michel allegedly raped a 21-year-old woman while an infant was in the home. He also allegedly attacked the woman's boyfriend when he returned home while he was there.
He then allegedly attempted another sexual assault on Dec. 13 in Newark, but the victim was able to fend him off before he could rape her.
