A 41-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in New Jersey, authorities said.
Police arrested Luis Higinio Elias Velasco, of Cliffside Park, after they say an investigation revealed he had engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with a young girl, who they describe as an acquaintance of his.
Velasco was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, with bail set at $500,000.
