A New Jersey high school teacher has been arrested on official misconduct charges for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a student, authorities say.

The 32-year-old teacher at West Morris Mendham High School is accused of sex acts with the 18-year-old student in May and June 2014, prosecutors said. 

She was arrested Tuesday after an investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Sex Crimes and Child Endangerment Unit and the Mendham Borough Police Department.

A message was left with the school.
