2 New Jersey College Students Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman in Dorm Room After Frat Party: Prosecutors

Two northern New Jersey college students are accused of sexually assaulting a woman following a fraternity party last weekend.

Authorities were notified after the woman went to a hospital Saturday morning.

Bergen County prosecutors say the woman believed she had been sexually assaulted after she woke up "in a state of undress" in a Ramapo College dorm room. A subsequent investigation determined that she had been "highly intoxicated" and unable to consent to sexual activity.

Eighteen-year-old Nakeem Gardner, of Paterson, and 24-year-old Christian Lopez, of Secaucus, both face two counts of aggravated sexual assault. Gardner also faces an invasion of privacy charge for allegedly taking video and pictures of the woman.

Bail was set at $300,000 each for both men. It's not known if either man has retained an attorney.
