NYPD Won't Charge Sheen Over October Hotel Incident

Charlie Sheen won't be charged in connection with a bizarre incident at a New York City hotel in October that involved an adult film actress and ended with the actor being taken to a hospital by the authorities.

A spokesperson for the NYPD confirmed to Access Hollywood on Tuesday that there would be no arrest of the actor, who was hospitalized in late October, after authorities allegedly found him in a distressed state in his hotel room at New York City's Plaza Hotel.

Hours after the incident, The New York Post reported that the "Two and a Half Men" star was allegedly found in his underwear and seemingly intoxicated after returning to his hotel with a woman later identified as adult film actress Capri Anderson.

According to various reports, Sheen became upset when he couldn't find an expensive watch and thought Anderson had taken it.

At the time, Sheen's rep said the "Two and A Half Men" star had had "an adverse allergic reaction to some medicine."

In late November, Anderson said that she planned to sue Sheen for battery and false imprisonment. She also filed a criminal complaint with New York Police.

Sheen fought back against Anderson's complaints, suing the adult film actress for extortion.
