NYPD Resumes Search for Women Missing in Harlem River

The NYPD has resumed the search for a woman who fell into the Harlem River over the weekend.

NYPD harbor police began looking for the woman again Monday morning. The search had been suspended Sunday because of strong tides.

New York City police responded shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at 147th Street and the Harlem River Drive. Three men told them they had dived into the water to try to save the woman.

Police said the woman had attended a party at a nearby park. They said about 200 people had turned up at the party.
