Off-Duty NYPD Officer Accused of Trespassing at NYU

An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested on a criminal trespassing charge Wednesday after he allegedly was in an New York University dorm and refused to leave, according to police and a published report.

Anthony Villalon, 23, was arrested Wednesday. The NYPD said it wasn't clear why he was on the campus, nor was it known who he was looking for.

According to DNAInfo, Villalon was "incoherent" when he was found in a medical students' dorm shortly before 1 a.m.

Information on his attorney wasn't immediately available.
