An NYPD detective has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving an 82-year-old woman.
Authorities say Michael Fantroy was off-duty on April 15 when he struck the woman in Queens.
Police said Doris Gadpaille was treated for a fractured face, bruised hip and lacerations to her head and hand.
The officer was released on $2,500 bail after his arraignment Tuesday.
Information about his attorney wasn't immediately available.
