NYPD Investigating “Become a Hero, Shoot a Cop” Graffiti in Queens

The NYPD is investigating anti-police graffiti found scrawled on a public phone booth in Queens.

They say the words "Become a hero, shoot a cop" were found on the outside of the booth at 31st Street and 36th Avenue in Astoria.

Police say they are reviewing surveillance video as part of the investigation.

It is thought the graffiti appeared sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday.
