NYC Trio Charged With Recruiting Girls for Sex Parties

A New York City couple and a single mother have been charged with soliciting girls as young as 12 for sex parties, according to documents filed in federal court in Brooklyn.

Brian Adams, his wife Shandale Franklin and Tatiana Daniel are accused of using Facebook to recruit girls between the ages 12 and 15 to have sex with older men at a hotel and a club, investigators said in court documents.

The girls were told in online conversations that they could make up to $800 a night and that "doctors, lawyers and maybe teachers" would be in attendance, court records state. It's unclear from the court papers whether the parties ever took place.

The three defendants are being held without bail. There was no immediate response to messages left with their lawyers on Saturday.
