Train Service Returns After Man Hit by Subway Train: NYPD

    A man was struck by a train at a Manhattan subway station, halting parts of the A and D lines for a couple of hours, police said.

    The man was hit by a train at the 116th Street station on Eighth Avenue in Harlem around 12:30 a.m.

    His condition wasn’t immediately known. 

    Service on the lines has since been restored.

    A line service had been suspended between 168th Street and the 59th Street-Columbus Circle in both directions, and D line service had been suspended between 145th Street and 59th Street-Columbus Circle in both directions.

    Police were still investigating early Friday morning.
