NYC Street Renamed in Slain Officer's Honor

New York City is paying tribute to slain NYPD Det. Wenjian Liu, by naming a street in his honor.

The city is renaming West 6th Street, between Avenue S and T in Brooklyn after Liu. It's the street where he lived with his wife.

Det. Liu and his partner Rafael Ramos were gunned down on December 20th, last year, while they sat in their patrol car in Brooklyn.

The gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, shot and killed himself in a nearby subway station after the ambush.
