These NYC Theaters Have $1 Movies for Kids This Summer

As the weather warms up and the days grow longer, a movie theater can be the perfect place to beat the heat and pass the time.

Luckily for parents, several Regal theaters in New York City are taking part in the “Summer Movie Express,” which features $1 admission to kids’ movies.

The “Summer Movie Express” will take place at the UA Kaufman Astoria Stadium in Queens, the UA Sheepshead Bay Stadium in Brooklyn and the UA Staten Island Stadium from early July to late August.

Tickets are available at the box office and all movies start at 10 a.m. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute.

Among the featured movies are “Kung Fu Panda 3,” “Ice Age: Collision Course,” “Trolls,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Monster Trucks,” and “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water.”
