NYC Parade Celebrates Persian New Year

    Iranian-Americans are marching down Madison Avenue to celebrate their heritage with floats, colorful costumes and marching bands.
    Sunday's parade celebrates Nowruz, the traditional Persian new year marking the first day of spring.

         Last week, President Obama released a video Nowruz greeting to Iran. In the video he said the U.S. is prepared to end the strained relations if Tehran tones down its rhetoric.
