A 21-year veteran of the NYPD suffered what appeared to be a fatal heart attack while dropping off bicycles for repairs at a Brooklyn park, authorities say.
Juan Feliciano, 44, was dropping off the bikes at Floyd Bennett Field when he suffered the fatal medical incident, NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton said. He was on the job at the time.
Feliciano was taken to Coney Island Hospital. He is believed to have had a pre-existing medical condition before the heart attack.
It appears he was a member of the 28th precinct in Harlem.
