The owner of a chain of New York City music schools for children has admitted to molesting a 9-year-old girl he had been teaching.

Prosecutors say 70-year-old Ilya Lehman pleaded guilty on Tuesday to forcible sexual conduct against a child in exchange for a two-year prison sentence and five years of probation.

Lehman had originally faced up to seven years in prison. He's to be sentenced Feb. 25.

Prosecutors said the girl's mother found Lehman inappropriately touching her daughter during a private lesson at their Upper West Side home. Court records say the girl told her mother that she had repeated inappropriate contact with Lehman.
