Police have arrested a suspect in the theft of a painting from a church in Manhattan.
Washington Dominguez, 64, was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary.
Police had been looking for an older man seen in surveillance video sneaking into Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Washington Heights.
In the video, the man stealthily makes off with a painting of a religious icon by hiding it under his coat.
It wasn't immediately known if Dominguez had an attorney.
