A man followed a woman out of a Bronx elevator and then attacked, robbed and raped her, police say.
The woman was leaving an elevator Friday night at a building on East 183 Street in University Heights when the man approached her from behind.
The man grabbed her and began attacking, police say. He then stole her cash and two cell phones before taking her to a stairwell, where he raped her.
The suspect took off on foot and the woman was transported to a local hospital.
Her condition wasn't immediately known.
