The kindergarten application process in New York City begins Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Parents can start filing the paperwork for placement next fall. The deadline is Jan. 13.
Parents can apply in one of three ways:
* Online at schools.nyc.gov/applyonline. The online application is available in ten languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Haitian Creole, Bengali, Urdu and French.
* Over the phone by calling 718-935-2400. Families can access translation services over the phone in more than 200 languages.
* In person at one of the DOE’s Family Welcome Centers. Families can find their local Family Welcome Center by going here.
