    NYC Hospital Opens Cardiac Unit for Babies Up to 3 Months

    NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital on Sept. 27 opened an infant cardiac unit to serve some of its youngest and most vulnerable patients.

    A New York City hospital has opened a cardiac unit for its tiniest patients - babies up to 3 months old.

    The announcement was made Wednesday by the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

    The 17-bed unit was built with a $5 million gift from the family of Vivian and Seymour Milstein.

    It's staffed with a team from numerous disciplines who are all experts in neonatal care.
