Chunks of concrete ceiling began falling from a subway station in Brooklyn on Monday, prompting crews to come and clean up the mess.
Someone called around 1 p.m. to report the tumbling chunks of concrete at the DeKalb Avenue subway station in downtown Brooklyn.
A nonstructural part of the concrete ceiling was collapsing onto the tracks of the B and Q lines, according to the MTA.
Crews with hardhats were at the scene Monday afternoon cleaning up the mess. The B and Q lines were temporarily rerouted to the D and R lines, respectively, as the crews worked.
No one was injured, the MTA said.
