Armed Thieves Rob Man as He Closes up Shop: NYPD

The two thieves managed to steal the victim’s jewelry and $400 before taking off, police said

A man was targeted by armed robbers as he closed a business in Brooklyn last week, police say.

The 46-year-old victim was closing up a business on Pitkin Avenue in East New York around 3 a.m. last Monday when one of the suspects forced him back inside at gunpoint.

The second suspect stood outside as a lookout during the robbery. 

The two thieves managed to steal the victim’s jewelry and $400 before taking off, police said.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
