Four suspects robbed an 18-year-old man after he withdrew money from an ATM in Queens, police said.
The robbery happened after the teen visited an ATM at A-Town deli at 24-20 Ditmars Blvd. on Nov. 8. Police say the suspects watched the victim at the ATM, followed him a short distance from the deli and then surrounded him shortly before 3 p.m. They then allegedly threw him to the ground and stole his wallet.
The suspects got away with a credit card, debit card and $1 in cash, according to police. The victim was able to retain the money that he withdrew from the ATM by hiding it in a pants pocket.
The four suspects ran away after the robbery.
