3 Men Shoot, Pistol Whip Teen Victims in Robbery: NYPD

Two teenagers were violently robbed in Harlem, police say.

The 16-year-old and 19-year-old victims were waiting for an elevator in a Lexington Avenue apartment building Friday night when the suspects approached them.

One of the suspects took out a gun and demanded the victims’ property, according to police. A struggle ensued, and the man with the gun shot the 16-year-old in the right knee and pistol whipped the 19-year-old.

The three suspects stole the 16-year-old’s coat before taking off on foot.

The two teens were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
