2 Connecticut College Students Killed in Plane Crash Upstate

Colgate University is mourning two students from Connecticut who died in a plane crash in Morrisville, New York, Sunday afternoon, according to the school.

Cathryn "Carey" Depuy and Ryan Adams, both freshman at Colgate University and Ridgefield, Connecticut, natives, were killed when the plane they were riding in crashed after taking off from Hamilton Municipal Airport. No other details of the accident are available at this time.

Counselors will be available for students, faculty and staff affected by the news. Some campus events will be postponed or cancelled and a community vigil will be held at the Colgate Memorial Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
