Police Investigate Street Fight Outside L.I. High School

Two teens were questioned by police after a fight at a Long Island high school spilled out onto surrounding streets, authorities said.

The fight broke out around Freeport High School at Sunrise Highway and Brookside Avenue sometime before 4 p.m., according to police.

There are reports that the fight continued at a local McDonald’s, although the reports have not been confirmed.

The cause of the fight is unknown and it is unclear if those involved were students.

Freeport and Nassau County police were in the area investigating. Although officers were talking with two teens, no one has been arrested, police said.

No one was reported injured in the fight.
