A 20-year-old man was critically injured after another man shot him and then drove off, police on Long Island say.
The victim was shot in a parking lot on Grand Avenue in Baldwin just before midnight Monday.
A man shot him in the chest before taking off in a black sedan.
The victim was found lying in the parking lot and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Detectives were at the scene investigating early Tuesday morning.
