Full LIRR service has been restored for the Wednesday morning rush following a brief period of delays because of signal troubles, the railroad says.
Some commuters may have experienced the LIRR delays.
There was no train service in both directions between Jamaica Station and Atlantic Terminal, but it has since been restored.
NYC Transit said it was cross-honoring LIRR tickets during the delays at Sutphin Boulevard-JFK, Broadway Junction, Nostrand Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center. It has since said it is no longer cross-honoring.
