Switch Problem Resolved on NJ Transit

There are residual delays on NJ Transit trains after an earlier switch problem during the Friday evening rush, but the problem has been resolved.

Trains arriving at and departing New York Penn Station were delayed 30 to 45 minutes due to signal problems earlier. There are now just residual delays due to the high volume of NJ Transit trains during the rush.

The Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast and Montclair-Boonton lines were affected.
