NJ Transit Train Hits Tractor-Trailer Carrying Frozen Food

No one was seriously injured when an NJ Transit train hit a tractor-trailer carrying frozen food Wednesday morning, authorities say.

The North Jersey Coast Line train slammed into the big rig at Cedar Avenue and Railroad Street in Long Branch at about 7:30 a.m., according to police. 

No one was seriously injured, authorities say. It's not clear if anyone was taken to the hospital. 

NJ Transit trains were delayed by as much as 20 minutes following the crash. Trains were running normally again as of 9 a.m.
