Bus Driver's Seizure Causes 5-Vehicle Crash in Lincoln Tunnel

Drivers using the Lincoln Tunnel are facing delays after a New Jersey Transit bus collided with four other vehicles in the south tube.

Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman says the crash occurred around 12:10 p.m. in Weehawken after the bus driver apparently suffered a seizure shortly before the New York tunnel exit.

It's not immediately known how many people were aboard the No. 107 bus.

Coleman says five people -- the bus driver, three people in a Mercedes Benz and one person in another vehicle that was struck -- were injured. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The bus, which runs between South Orange and New York,  was headed toward Manhattan
