NJ Teacher Pleads Not Guilty to Underage Sex Charges

A former substitute teacher in New Jersey has pleaded not guilty to charges that she had sex with underage students and sent them sexually explicit photos via text messages and social media apps.

Linda Hardan, 21, entered her pleas Friday. according to The Record.

She is charged with single counts of aggravated sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, two counts of sexual assault and four counts of child endangerment. She could face several decades in prison if convicted on all counts.

Hardan worked as a substitute teacher in Haledon, New Jersey, and at Manchester Regional High School in North Haledon. Authorities say two of the victims were 16-year-old boys, while the other two boys were 13 and 14.
