Police were still investigating the freeway crash in Lodi on Friday morning.

A white Volvo V70 carrying three people overturned in the eastbound lanes near Exit 64 shortly before 2 a.m.

Video from the scene showed the overturned Volvo crippled against a bridge pillar with a twisted guardrail wrapped around it.

The three people inside the Volvo were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center. A woman was listed in critical condition. The conditions of another woman and a man weren't immediately known.

The ramp at eastbound Exit 64, going to Route 17, and the right lane of I-80 were closed at 2:19 a.m. as a result of the crash, New Jersey Department of transportation officials said. The ramp was still closed as of 7:30 a.m.
