Authorities in northern New Jersey say a 29-year-old man has died trying to break in to his own apartment.
Police say the Paterson man bled to death Sunday night after he broke a window and severed an artery in his arm.
Detective Lt. Richard Reyes told The Record of Woodland Park that the man was arguing with a woman inside who had locked him out.
The woman called police after the man broke the window, but officers and paramedics were unable to save him.
Police did not immediately release the man's identity
