Masked Men Break in to NJ Apple Store on Christmas: Cops

Police say the trio stole $36,000 worth of Apple products

Police say the visitors at a New Jersey Apple store early Christmas morning were not Santa and his elves.

Two men have been arrested, and a search is on for a third accused of breaking into the store in the Cherry Hill Mall at 4:45 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the men arrived in a stolen car, donned ski masks and threw rocks through windows to get in the store, where they filled trash bags with nearly $36,000 worth of Apple products.

By the time they were back in the car, police were on their trail.

Authorities say officers chased by car until they ran into a dead end. Then the men ran away.

Two 22-year-olds from Willingboro were arrested. The Apple gear was found in the car they abandoned.
