“My Brother … Said We Should Hook Up”

Officer might be in hot water in Queens

Ruh-roh. The Post got "exclusive" wind of an older brother, who just so happens to be a cop, doing a bit of misguided wingmanship for his younger 17-year old brother. The saga began when Officer Shan France arrested then 15-year old Destiny Russo for alleged robbery and assault last July.

According to the criminal complaint, Russo, Donna Rice and friends were "punching and kicking the victim in the face, head and back - before Rice allegedly grabbed $7 from the victim's hand and from inside her bra. Rice allegedly held the victim by the hair while she was stripped naked and forced to run home nude."

What about that made Officer France think, "Hey, you know, she'd make a great girl for my 17-year-old brother Javal!" I'll never quite understand.

But, knowing all that she was capable of, he took Destiny's contact info gleaned from the arrest and gave it to his younger bro to get in touch. Javal then found her on MySpace and wrote, "My brother gave me your information and said we should hook up," on her public page.

Not-so-shockingly, Russo wasn't impressed, so she contacted her lawyer. Now, the NYPD is said to be "looking into the allegation," reports the Post, which also noted, " A Queens District Attorney spokesman refused to comment on claims the cop passed along information about Russo to his baby brother." The lawyers involved refused to comment as well.
