A motorist is accused of pointing a gun at another driver after exchanging words with her while driving on New York's Taconic State Parkway.
State police say the 44-year-old man was passing through Mount Pleasant when he began sparring verbally with the female driver. Police say he then drew a small black handgun and aimed it at her. She steered away from the man and called police.
Officers stopped him in Somers, about 50 miles north of Manhattan.
Sgt. William Dexter says officers found the gun and a set of brass knuckles in the car. The man had a permit for the gun.
The man is charged with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
