Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With MTA Bus in Brooklyn

A motorcyclist was struck and killed after colliding with an MTA bus that was making a turn at a Brooklyn intersection Wednesday morning, police say. 

The 26-year-old motorcyclist was going southbound on Ralph Avenue in Canarsie when he collided with the bus, which was turning onto Glenwood Road from Ralph Avenue northbound, according to police. 

Emergency responders found the motorcyclist with severe trauma to his body and took him to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

The 38-year-old bus driver stayed on the scene. A 75-year-old woman riding the bus was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Police have not yet identified the motorcyclist.
