$500 Fine for Public Urination During NJ St. Patrick's Day Parade

Those who publically urinate during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Morristown, N.J. this weekend will pay for more than extra beer, NJ.com reports.

Parade partiers will be fined $500 dollars for urinating in public, the newspaper reports.  Second time offenders will be fined $1,000.

An estimated 70,000 people are expected to attend the parade Saturday.

Police will likely keep an eye out for those who get too rowdy during the parade and exhibit disorderly behavior.

In 2011, there were allegedly 46 people who urinated in public. If the same number of people are charged Saturday, Morristown will gain about $ 23,000 in fines, NJ.com reports.

The festivities will begin on Saturday with a Mass at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 10:00 a.m.

Local bars near the parade will be open all day.
