Police say a toddler reported missing inside a Queens Park Monday evening has been found safe and in good condition.
The 3-year-old boy, Makoto Maki, was reported missing at about 5 p.m. in the area of Queens Theater inside Flushing Meadow Park, police said.
The parents of the boy told police they left their son in the car to take some photos. When they returned, the child was gone, they said.
It wasn't clear if the doors were locked or how close they stayed to the car.
He was reported found at about 11:40 p.m. after police officers blanketed the park to search for the boy. No further information was immediately available.
